Unlimited Company - Can we use TinyTax

We are an unlimited company registered at Companies House and with shareholders. We have previously filed online through HMRC but HMRC have confirmed that we must now use commercial software.

I created a Tiny Tax account but when I tried to add our company the system said it was an unlimited company and did not allow it to be added.

Anyone know whether or how I can use Tiny Tax for my unlimited company?

Unfortunately, TinyTax doesn't currently support filing for private unlimited companies. The system correctly blocked the company from being added because unlimited companies have different reporting requirements that aren't covered by TinyTax's CT600 and Companies House accounts workflow.

For filing your company tax return, you have a couple of options:

- **HMRC's free filing service** — for CT600 submissions, HMRC offers a free option at https://www.gov.uk/file-your-company-tax-return
- **A specialist accountant** — for unlimited companies with more complex accounts requirements

Sorry we can't help directly with this one.
