previous years ct600
Good morning, i hope you can help.
I have recently discovered and registered to use your service as our accountant is becoming unreliable due to age and poor health. I have 22-23 and 23-24 ct600 outstanding and have received assessments. I have all of the information I need to complete and file using your service, however I do not have copies of earlier years ct600 so am not sure what,if any losses accrued during the covid years have been carried forward from the few years prior to YE23. Are these earlier ct600 submissions available ? and from where?.
I have copies of all years accounts with profit and loss figures however I don't want to make any errors when making the first overdue submission.
Can you help. I am hoping to do the submissions this weekend.

TinyTax can only file new returns; it doesn't have access to returns your previous accountant filed. To get the figures you need:
**Getting earlier CT600 copies**
The quickest route is HMRC directly. Log into your Business Tax Account at gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services using your organisation Government Gateway credentials (the account with Corporation Tax enrolled for KAAT CASES LIMITED). Under Corporation Tax you can view and download all previously filed CT600s, including the boxes showing losses carried forward.
If you can't access those, ask your accountant for copies — even if they're winding down, they're required to keep records. If you just need the losses figure, ask for Box 780 (trading losses carried forward) from the most recent CT600 they filed before your 2022-23 period.
**What you actually need**
You only need the "losses available to carry forward" figure from the last return your accountant filed — you don't need to total up every year. In TinyTax, enter that amount in the Tax computation section under Losses > "Losses brought forward from prior years".
If your company made losses in 2020-21 or 2021-22 and those weren't offset against profit in a later year, they'll appear as the carried forward total on the most recent filed CT600.
**Filing order**
TinyTax requires you to file in date order, oldest first — 2022-23 before 2023-24. Once your 2022-23 return is accepted by HMRC, 2023-24 will be ready to file.
