The option you are looking for is called **"Company closing down"** — it appears in the filing form when you use the custom dates option. Here is how to access it:

From your TinyTax dashboard, look at the filing row for your company. If there is a **"Company closing? File final return"** link, click that directly — it goes straight into the short-period form.

If you do not see that link (for example, the row shows "Too early" because the full year has not ended yet), you can still access it:

1. Click Start Filing on your company
2. In the filing form, look below the Accounting Period dropdown for the link "Need different dates?"
3. Click it and select Company closing down
4. Enter your final period end date (the date the company ceased trading)

When you choose Company closing down, TinyTax sets the accounts up as final accounts — you do not need to tick a separate box. The system handles the going concern disclosure automatically. You can then choose to file both the CT600 to HMRC and the accounts to Companies House in one go.
