Since you have been filing CT600s through HMRC's own online platform, Corporation Tax should already be enrolled on your Organisation Gateway account. What you need to use TinyTax is:
- Your Company UTR (10-digit number from HMRC's Notice to Deliver letter) — you have this
- Your 12-digit Government Gateway User ID — this is the numeric ID, not your email or username
- Your Gateway password — you have this
- Corporation Tax must be enrolled on that Organisation Gateway account — it should be, given your prior filings
The one thing worth checking: log in at gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services and confirm that Corporation Tax appears in your list of services. If it does, you are ready to file through TinyTax straight away using those same credentials.
If you also need to file Company Accounts with Companies House, you will need your 6-character Companies House authentication code (separate from Gateway — sent by post to your registered address).
Note: HMRC's direct online filing service closed on 31 March 2026, so commercial software like TinyTax is now the route for CT600 submissions. Your existing Gateway credentials work exactly the same way.
