If your company qualifies as a micro-entity, TinyTax automatically generates FRS 105 accounts — these contain a balance sheet only. No profit and loss account is filed with Companies House, and you are fully exempt from including one.

A company qualifies as a micro-entity if it meets at least two of these three criteria:

- Annual turnover of £632,000 or less
- Balance sheet total of £316,000 or less
- 10 or fewer employees

When you enter your figures in TinyTax, the system checks these thresholds automatically. If your company qualifies, the accounts it generates will contain the balance sheet only — the P&L does not go to Companies House.

Your profit and loss figures are still entered on the form (TinyTax uses them for your CT600 to HMRC), but they are not included in the abbreviated accounts document filed at Companies House.

If your company is above the micro-entity thresholds but qualifies as a small company, TinyTax generates FRS 102 Section 1A accounts, which do include a profit and loss account in the Companies House filing. There is not currently a way to omit the P&L for small company accounts within TinyTax.
