My company is able to claim £40780 in respect of an electric vehicle
There is no separate box to include this as technically it is not an Annual Investment Allowance.
Can you confirm that it is OK to include in the box. This will create a loss for the year most of which can be set back into the previous tax year to create a tax repayment. Part of the loss will have to be carried forward. Can the auto calculate function deal with this ?
