FILING SIMPLE CORPORATION TAX RETURN FOR A COMMUNITY BENEFIT SOCIETY

Good evening.

I would like to be able to file a Corporation Tax Return for our Local Community Shop (another of my clients). It is a Community Benefit Society (IP30174R) and it is also an SME and would benefit from small company accounts. I have to submit a CT600 for this business, and I also have to provide seperate final accounts for the FCA. However, I understand that HMRC still require accounts and iXBRL Tax Calculations.

The business is blanked out faint when I load it so I cannot select it. It would be great if I can use your excellent services for this small company so I don't have to spend £100 plus with Easy Digital Filing.

Again, many thanks

Great news — we've just added support for Community Benefit Societies. If you search for IP30174R (Nenthead Community Shop Ltd) now, you'll be able to select it and file your CT600.

Because registered societies file their accounts with the FCA rather than Companies House, TinyTax will handle the CT600 only — the accounts and iXBRL tax computations that HMRC require will be generated as part of the CT600 submission, so you're fully covered on the HMRC side.
