CT600 STILL NOT UPDATING WITH CORPORATION TAX REBATE

Dear Tim Fouracre

Good afternoon. I am still having issues with getting my Corporation Tax Return for my Client to update with the £7 Corporation Tax rebate for this year. It is saving the £7 rebate but not re-calculating the Profit and Loss figures so it shows a £1,532 loss not £1,539. I have tried the hard reset, and saving as-per instructions. It is still not updating with the corrected Profit and Loss figures.

As this issue is now beginning to try my patience is there any chance that you would be able to make the prerequisite change for me? You have my expressed permission to do this and I would be greatly appreciative of that!

Another fearure of the Tiny Tax software is that it is somehow showing Corporation Tax filing blocked as filed elsewhere. I have only filed it on your platform and as far as I am aware I have not succeeded in filing to HMRC again.

The other issue is the iXBRL file for the YE 30th June 2024 accounts that need to be attached. Is there any way of editing this iXBRL file so that it shows the correct Balance Sheet, i.e., Current Assets £4,834, overall Balance Sheet £3,362 in order that this does not differ from the corrected 30th June 2024 information in the 30th June 2025 accounts? Or of being able to send this corrected CT600 with the corrected June 2024 Balance Sheet but without having to attach iXBRL accounts for YE 30th June 2024 that have a Balance Sheet error. I have looked into editing iXBRL files but it seems that it is very difficult to do.

I am just concerned that HMRC might query the accounts if the previous year's (2024) Balance Sheet figures on the iXBRL and as filled in within Tiny Tax differ.

Many thanks, as always

ood news - we've identified and fixed the bug that was causing the Profit and Loss figures not to update when you enter a corporation tax rebate. The fix has just been deployed, so if you try again now, entering the -£7 tax rebate should correctly update the profit/loss figure to show £1,539 (loss) instead of £1,532.

Regarding the "CT600 filing blocked as filed elsewhere" message - this is actually showing because your CT600 for YE 30/06/2025 was successfully accepted by HMRC on 11th January 2026. The system is preventing a duplicate submission to HMRC for the same period, which is the correct behaviour. If you need to make corrections after HMRC has accepted a filing, this would need to be submitted as an amendment rather than a fresh submission.

On the prior year Balance Sheet figures in the iXBRL accounts - HMRC's primary concern is that the figures in your current year accounts are correct and internally consistent (i.e., the opening balances for 2025 match the closing balances shown as comparatives for 2024). Minor discrepancies in previously filed accounts are unlikely to trigger queries, but if you'd like us to review the specific figures you're concerned about, please let us know the details and we can advise on the best approach.

Apologies for the frustration caused by the tax rebate bug - thank you for your patience while we tracked it down.
