Just to clarify - when you use "Filed Elsewhere" in TinyTax, it simply marks that period as already submitted via another method (like HMRC's own website). It doesn't send anything to HMRC or make any changes to a return.
If you've already submitted a CT600 directly to HMRC and want to check it was received, you can:
1. Log into your HMRC Government Gateway account
2. Go to Corporation Tax → View your returns
3. You should see your submitted return listed there
If you need to amend a CT600 you've already submitted to HMRC, you'd need to submit a new amended return - TinyTax can help with that.
Could you clarify which period you're asking about and what you're trying to achieve? Happy to help once I understand the situation better.

I had to submit two declarations CT600 -1 for the period from 17.10.24 to 16.10.25 and the second from 17.10.25 to 31.10.25. I submitted the first declaration through HMRC. How can I make changes to the submitted declaration or simply resubmit two declarations for both periods through Tiny Tax?

Thanks for clarifying. I can see you have an extended accounting period (17 Oct 2024 to 31 Oct 2025) which requires two CT600 submissions.
To resubmit both CT600s through TinyTax:
1. Click the Actions dropdown for the 31 Oct 2025 period
2. Select "Amend CT600"
3. TinyTax will automatically split the period and submit both returns to HMRC
This will replace what you previously filed.

After submitting a return, I see an error. submission
Previously rejected
(27/01/2026 10:57)
"Error 3001: The submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific business logic in the Body tag.; No original Return yet recorded, please contact the HMRC Online Services Helpdesk on Tel 0300 200 3600." What could be the cause? How can I correct the error so I can submit the return to HMRC?

Good news - this is a timing issue we can fix easily.
Your extended accounting period requires two CT600 returns. The first one (ending 16/10/2025) was accepted by HMRC. The second one (ending 31/10/2025) was rejected because HMRC's system hadn't finished processing the first return when the second arrived moments later.
To fix this, simply resubmit:
1. Go to your dashboard
2. Click the Actions dropdown for the 31 Oct 2025 period
3. Select "Amend CT600"
4. Submit again with your Government Gateway credentials
Since your first return is now registered with HMRC, the second submission should go through without any issues.
We've also deployed a fix on our end to prevent this timing issue from affecting future submissions.

hank you for your patience while we investigated this. We've now deployed a fix for the issue you experienced.
What happened: When Period 1 and Period 2 of a split accounting period are submitted together, HMRC's system occasionally needs a few seconds to register Period 1 before it can accept Period 2. In your case, Period 2 was rejected because HMRC hadn't finished processing Period 1 yet.
When you subsequently tried "Amend CT600", the system was incorrectly sending Period 2 as an amendment rather than as a new return - but since HMRC never received the original Period 2, there was nothing to amend.
What we've fixed: Both issues are now resolved. The system will now correctly handle this scenario.
What you need to do:
1. Go to your TinyTax dashboard
2. Find LEADADS LTD and click the dropdown menu
3. Select "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"
4. Enter your Government Gateway credentials
5. Submit
This will send Period 2 to HMRC as a new return, which should now be accepted.

I see only the general reporting period from 17.10.24 to 31.10.25; there are no separate periods for the СT600 report.Where can i select "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"?

Apologies for the confusion. I've fixed the issue on your account - the "Retry Period 2" option should now be visible.
Please try:
1. Go to your TinyTax dashboard
2. Find LEADADS LTD and click the dropdown arrow next to the 31 Oct 2025 period
3. Select "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"
4. Enter your Government Gateway credentials and submit
Since Period 1 was accepted several days ago, Period 2 should now go through without any issues.
Let me know if you hit any problems.

Apologies for the trouble. We've identified and fixed the underlying issue.
What happened: Your browser session expired while the page was open. This caused a "session token" mismatch when you clicked submit.
What we've fixed: We've extended session lifetimes and improved the error message so this is less likely to occur, and easier to recover from if it does.
Please try again:
1. Go to your TinyTax dashboard
2. Refresh the page (press F5 or Ctrl+R)
3. Click on LEADADS LTD
4. Click "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"
5. Enter your Government Gateway credentials and submit
The refresh ensures your browser has a fresh session. Let me know if you encounter any further issues.

Apologies for the continued issues. We found a missing configuration file that was preventing the retry from working. This has now been fixed.
Please try again:
1. Go to your TinyTax dashboard
2. Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
3. Click on LEADADS LTD
4. Click "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"
5. Enter your Government Gateway credentials and submit
This should now work correctly. I'll be monitoring to confirm it goes through successfully.

Apologies for the ongoing issues. Your case has uncovered several edge cases in our system that we hadn't encountered before - you're the first customer to retry a single period of a split CT600 submission after HMRC's timing delay. We've now fixed all the issues we've found and done a thorough code review.
Please try again:
1. Go to your TinyTax dashboard
2. Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
3. Click on LEADADS LTD
4. Click "Retry Period 2 (CT600)"
5. Enter your Government Gateway credentials and submit
Thank you for your patience - please let me know the result.

Thank you for your patience while we've been working through the Period 2 submission issues.
We've identified and fixed the problems that were causing the errors. The retry feature was pushing into new territory (you're the first customer to retry a single period of a split CT600), and this exposed several edge cases we've now resolved.
When you're ready, please try the "Retry Period 2" button again from your dashboard.
If it still doesn't work for any reason, don't worry – we've set things up so that we can now complete the submission on your behalf. This means you won't need to keep retrying while we investigate; we'll be able to diagnose and resolve any remaining issues ourselves.

Your extended accounting period requires two CT600 returns. The first one (ending 16/10/2025) was accepted by HMRC. The second one (ending 31/10/2025) was rejected because HMRC's system hadn't finished processing the first return when the second arrived moments later.

Since your first return is now registered with HMRC, the second submission should go through without any issues.
